Neutral Bay

Freshwater

Heading up into the Northern Beaches, Freshwater has come alive in recent years and transformed itself into one of the most secluded and attractive beach destinations on the North side, with property prices still relatively affordable, comparatively with its neighbours. Bars, trendy boutique shopping and brand new restaurants isn’t all the area has to offer, with a relaxed vibe that mixes the commercial and the tranquil in the best possible way. Houses are up nearly 35 per cent in the last year and for apartments and units, up 17 per cent.

Crows Nest

Wedged between the busy districts of St Leonards and North Sydney, Crows Nest is the perfect place to invest in. The friendly, village style community is now appealing to a wider demographic; close to a range transport options, it embodies the modern ‘work local, play local’ idea. A mixture of town houses, terrace houses and apartments with a median price lower than North Sydney and St Leonards mean than every family can be catered for. The suburb has demonstrated some of the strongest price growth on the North Shore in recent years, up 21 per cent.

Davidson
Tucked away on the edge of the Garigal National Park – Davidson is one of the North Shore’s best kept secrets. With property prices surging to a median of $1.4 million in the last year, this increase is the largest the area has seen. With close access to Chatswood and a variety of public transport options, Davidson has one of the highest rates of home ownership in Sydney and will soon be serviced by a new Stocklands shopping centre. It is already home to local shops and within easy access of two other local centres and Westfield Warringah Mall.
